04/05/2022 – St. Vincent Ferrer

St Vincent Ferrer, today’s saint, like his predecessor St Dominic, faced down a terrible threat to the faith with the rosary. Our Lady gave St Dominic the rosary to defeat the Albigensian Heresy and St Vincent similarly wielded the rosary to prevent the great schism that threatened the papacy and all of Christendom in the following century. St Vincent took his mission throughout Europe from Muslim Granada in the South of Spain to Ireland.

St Vincent said of the Rosary, ““Whoever observes this practice is beyond the reach of adversity!”
