05/31/2022 – Queen of the World

Pope Pius XII consecrated the World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1942. Twelve years later he proclaimed a Marian Year.

As a special gift to the faithful in the Marian Year, the Pope designated May 31 to honour Our Lady under the title “Queen of the World.” It is a title that relates also to the consecration of the world to its Queen.

God does not give empty titles, his words are full of power, therefore having given Her the title of Queen it implies that, as such, she has received power delegated by the Most Holy Trinity to act in that capacity.
