10/02/2021 – Pray for Holy Souls in Purgatory

Today and all through the month of November, we pray for the holy souls in Purgatory, the Church suffering.

These souls may be friends and members of our family.

They are happy to know that their salvation is assured but they suffer from a great longing to be with God. In their suffering they can’t help themselves. They depend on our prayers for their relief.

And more than anything they depend on Mary, their Heavenly Mother who cares for them throughout their purification.

All of us want to go to heaven to spend eternity in the pure happiness of the beatific vision of God.

None of us want to spend time in purgatory.

And Our Lady gives us the means here and now to avoid or minimise purgatory….the Rosary.

In Mary’s rosary promises she assures us, “I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.”

Pray the rosary for the Holy Souls!
