11/1/2021 – Church Triumphant

Today we celebrate the Church Triumphant, every human person who is in heaven enjoying the beatific vision.

Some of these are our own ancestors, the very people who kept the faith and passed it on to us.

We hope and pray that when our time on earth ends that we, through the Mercy of God, will join them.

But we are not the only ones who want us to get to heaven. Our Heavenly Mother, Mary wants us there too.

Like throwing a rope to a struggling swimmer, she gives us the rosary. We just need to grab hold of it and not let go.

To encourage us, she has made fifteen promises for those who pray the rosary. All these promises set us on the narrow road that leads to heaven. She even promises:“The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of Glory in Heaven.”

So honour the saints and become one of them….one rosary at a time.
